Data comes from tracing where Stripe checkout traffic comes from, plus public data on TrustMRR.
Open any site for its product, channels and growth path.
What this is: Similarweb shows which sites send traffic to the payment pages of Stripe, Gumroad, Lemon Squeezy, Polar, Creem and Whop. We pulled the past 6 months of referral lists of these 9 checkouts (15,790 sites) and kept the 606 with at least 3,000 checkout visits last month, under 50% paid traffic, and not a big brand, funded company, enterprise B2B or marketplace.
The number: “checkout visits” is Similarweb's estimate of visits going from the site to a checkout payment page. Two clicks by one person count twice; opening checkout is not paying, so this is not revenue. Small sites land on fixed buckets and carry large error.
Last month gain: last month's checkout visits minus the month before. Sites at 0 the month before are marked “New”.
How it started: for every site we traced where the first users came from, in 11 classes. Traffic source now is the largest attributable new-user source last month, in 5 classes. Both are judgments; the evidence is on each site's page.
Grey sites: adult, piracy, cheat and account-resale sites stay on the list, are labelled on their page, and are kept out of search indexes.
